On the 21st of January 2014 Navis Crew Management representatives namely General Manager and Quality Manager visited Stanford Marine LLC office located in Dubai - UAE. It was decided to continue and expand cooperation mutually beneficial for both parties. Dubai-based Stanford Marine Group (SMG) was established in 1997 and is now a leading owner and operator of offshore supply vessels for the oil and gas sector.

The company has a strong track record in the Middle East and has increased its fleet and developed shipbuilding and crane hire operations in recent years. SMG is now expanding internationally, targeting the Southeast Asia and West Africa markets. Stanford Marine fleet is composed of Supply Boats (PSV and FSV), Fast Crew Boats and Anchor Handlers (AHTS and AHT) and counts 72 vessels as of January 2014.

Having a multipurpose fleet allows to be the preferred one-stop-shop for a wide range of clients, from production to offshore construction, and geotechnical contractors. The focus of the company on Health & Safety is a driving force of success, which is why Stanford Marine has posted zero % LTI (Lost Time Incidents) in 2012 for the third year running, passing 10 million man-hours. The possible prospects for cooperation were mentioned and hopefully may develop mutual benefits. Zakher Marine International provide services to the Offshore Oil and Gas Industries and Offshore Marine Construction Companies and are clearly focused on client satisfaction and retention. The Company was established in Abu Dhabi in 1984 where the Head Office remains, a branch office was established in Alexandria, Egypt in 2000.
